The reviews are good for these books. Whilst I find that the discussion of bodily functions is not something that I was brought to openly discuss or was my daughter (private home discussion). However it appears that the grand kids get a chuckle over this. Also have enjoyed all of Joe Nesbo's adult books. Maybe will sneek in and read them as I read all of the Harry Potter books. LOL
These books got my 8 year old son reading! My son always whined and argued with me about reading time, until my mom got him a fart powder book. Now, at 9.5 years old, he insists on reading every night before he goes to bed. He finished the fart powder books and is making his way through the Harry Potter series and James Patterson Treasure Hunters series. Thank you Jo Nesbo for making reading fun for those less then enthusiastic young readers.
My 9 year old boy loves these books. Read the first one in a day. I even offered him to watch a movie with me but he didn't want to put his book down. It's rare that a 9 year old boy won't put a book down to watch TV so huge win!
My kids love this series and it has helped transition them to longer books with less pictures. We read this at bedtime with my 6 and 4 year old. I think it is too sophisticated for 4 year old, but 6 year old loves it. Very funny and smart writing, and it's about farts, so what kid doesn't like that?
Would have given a higher rating if my son's Xmas present wasn't ruined when he went to use the Whoopi cushion on his brother, only to find out it was ripped right out of the box.... How can he embarrass his older brother when it is ripped?!
This boxed set was purchased for a gift after reading the first in the series. Well liked! A fun series! The complimentary Whoopee cushion was a hit! If your child likes Captain underpants, they will love this!

My little girl thinks farts are hilarious, but she lost interest in these books fast.
