I was required to use this book for class. The new 2016 MLA Update is extremely helpful.The new design of the book doesn't just have a spiral to keep it together, but has an additional piece of plastic running on what would be the book's spine to keep it together, which is extremely beneficial so that at the end of the term the spiral hasn't unwound.The content of the book is also helpful. Although I knew a lot of the information and some of it seems a bit wordy, the content that I did not know was helpful. Would recommend.

I don't know why I just bought this book. I should have used this when I was in undergrad. Very helpful!

I can't "love it" because it's a writing manual for university classes, and who loves those??? However, it is the best writer's reference manual out there.

This has been very helpful, especially for grammar worksheets. The book explains grammar concepts in detail, providing multiple examples. The sections on MLA, Chicago, etc. are excellent and provide examples for bibliographies, works cited pages, in-text citations, etc. Very useful for any English course.

My college instructor recommended this book and I was impressed with it. Great reference book for improving your writing skill. I highly recommend it.

Every college freshman needs this book. I took AP English courses in high school but this book is helpful to me. You will learn how to do different types of formatting and how to make the most efficient paper. Even small things like P.O.V. and number shifts can become clearer to you for editing your paper. You wont ever need to go to the writing center after you study this material.

This book could be more user friendly, but it is very up-to-date & has all the requirements for writer's in need of a reference guide. I've held onto this book & still use it today while in Graduate school & know that I will continue to use it through my doctoral program in the future. I have been recommending it to my practicum and intern students who are just starting to learn some of the fundamentals of couple's therapy.

Gottman continues to show such brilliance, delicacy, thoroughness, and depth in his work, while still making it an approachable read. He's still the best

I was disappointed. There were less than stellar reviews that I should have listened to. The five star reviews must have come from his family. This is more of a pamphlet than a book. It lists new anvils that you can buy and lists their price and that's it. I really mean that's it! No narrative of what is good or bad. No pictures. No discussion on manufacturers. Just description and price. What makes a $2,000 anvil worth more than a $200 anvil...? Nothing. I mean that quite literally. He lists a NCAnvil (70lb) for $268 and lists a Peddinghaus double horn (77lb) for $750 with no narrative and no explanation. No information at all on old anvils. This is simply a price list and nothing more. It does nothing to help you choose an anvil. Sparsely written and not worth ten bucks.

Honestly, I was disappointed in the book. I guess I had hoping it would show what current new AND USED anvils should be going for. Instead, this was just new anvil prices. Information I can easily get from the internet.

This is a guy who started the book telling you to Google it yourself. But a good google price research listing, with an opinion thrown in from time to time. I didn't realize it was just a collection of stories from people of all backgrounds around the country. More of a 'learn from my example' or 'you are not alone' book than and outright advise book.

This book came to me at the right time. I can now step back, and see that too much advice to my adult son was pushing him away from me. This book was extremely helpful to me. I will start the new year giving no opinions unless asked for!! I feel better already!

This author helps families handle and understand "normal" issues between parents and adult children. What I love most is that there is no blame here, just an understanding and helpful information that can stop or defuse a situation from getting out of control. It's helpful to know that all families have some issues, it's normal, and that it's never too late to make things better.

I loved this book. My mom died when I was 28 and there are so many things I wish that I could ask her. This book was so helpful and hopeful in looking towards the future with my family. There are so many books out there about raising a family but not much about growing to the next phase of parenting. I also, really appreciated that this book was full to the top with stories. They were so helpful.

What if, what if... This story broke my heart. One thing out of many I took away from this is the incessant blame one gets when they claim something happened to them, or in the case of the camping trip.... sure they went on Federal Land, and that’s a side debate for later, but the action by the Air Force afterwards was completely unwarranted- they treated him like a suspected terrorist. When we think of crack pots it’s easy to single people out like Mr. Lovelace because their story doesn’t fit our own perfect interpretation of “how things should be”, but sometimes the truth is the men and women who claim to govern us, and who “knows what’s best” are the real crackpots. With so much evidence that transcends millennia, why is it so easily dismissed? Sometimes our enemies are the ones who keep telling us to “go to bed” , “your government is in control”. It’s BS, no one is in control, we are marooned on a blue space rock with no hope. Take care of each other people, and try to listen to one another. It’s all we have. Thanks Mr. Lovelace, I would sure like to punch Brad in the face, but he’s probably dead and being churned into worm food by now. Take care.

The immense treasure trove of evidence made available to the public is truly compelling.The heartfelt dedication and determination required to write a book of this nature is evident, especially when the author was advised to remain silent.With much gratitude, wishing you the health and strength to continue to share your work.

The events described in this book make it clear (to me) why disclosure would not be in the works anytime soon. While I believe people would be accepting of benevolent visitors, there would be pure terror if this scenario were found to be true.I have mixed feelings. My desire to have proof of extraterrestrial visitors is outweighed by a hope that they would not be as described in this book. If so....what are we but mere lab creatures being experimented on?A great read. I would recommend.

This is an intense story of one person’s lifelong experiences with aliens. Each reader will form his/her own opinion on whether Lovelace is telling fact or fiction. Interestingly, this book focuses equally on the reactions of his family, friends, and the military, and how he responded. This is a book about American culture as well as a memoir.Lovelace has a natural narrative ability. I cringed when I read how his parents and sisters reacted when he was a boy telling them about the spaceship. Granted, their reactions were likely typical for that era and for our society at that time. Still, I cringed.He went to law school and rose in his profession to eventually become an attorney general. He married, raised a family. Only after retirement at the age of 64, has he come forward. Given the skepticism in our society, it must have taken courage.So, read this compelling story and form your own opinion. It’s a page-turner. I suspect Lovelace has more to say, though.I gave this 4 stars because of the spelling errors.

I don't usually purchase books about alien abduction, but when I heard the author's account on the Fade to Black radio show I decided I wanted to know the rest of his story. Reading his account was just as compelling as hearing it--if not more. I would have read it in one sitting, but due to other commitments, I had to stop after forty pages. When I did come back to the book, I finished it as I simply had to see the story to the end. I would highly recommend this book to those who are interested in the abduction phenomena. I do hope that the author finds some relief from the drastic change in health he has endured. Speaking out, it seems, has its consequences.

Mysterious Universe podcast tipped me off to this book as well. Would love to hear Terry as a guest on their show. Captivating account of seemingly true events that line up with so many other eyewitness accounts. It's amazing how so many eyewitness accounts on a global scale can be discounted and brushed aside so easily (let alone the physical evidence uncovered in this book). While the book does have a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, that's not the point. The point is to sound the alarm that something is going on right in front of us and we are too closed-minded, blind, or afraid of judgement to pursue it further. I wish Terry had said a little bit more about Toby's eventual demise, but I'm sure it will come up in his interviews.

Never been interested in this type of book before, but something about the author and the reviews made me give it a try. Now I am glad I did. As fantastic as the story sounds, the author sounds completely creditable. All I can say is read it for yourself, then you decide.

I highly enjoyed this independently published account of alien abduction and government witness suppression. Lovelace's narrative echoes many other military witnesses who've experienced unexplainable and downright strange aerial phenomena. His experience suggests a real government long-term effort to suppress witnesses and evidence to UFOs. And Lovelace has the x-ray evidence to prove that something anomalous really happened to him. His story even contains the famed, proverbial "women in black" who continue to haunt him with thinly-veiled threats and unwanted appearances in his life. The Kindle edition is an excellent choice for using the Artists's Way workbook. Previously I had bought the print spiral bound edition, hoping to use it but I never did, because I did not want to fill in the pages of the print book, so as to save the print book for re-use or to sell later. However, in the Kindle edition, I am able to go on to my PC and copy and paste the assignments and tasks into my own Word documents, making my own book in effect to use and re-use and type in the assignments in the actual pages. To me it is well worth the extra cost to have the Kindle edition workbook to avoid typing in the assignments..

This book is very engaging with a variety of activities. However I also purchased the 25th anniversary Edition and there is too much redundancy to warrant purchasing both.

This is a journey. A journey of a lifetime. If you are so fortunate to open this book and workbook; your life could not ever be the same . The book took away the pain of no decisions, bad decisions and decisions made for me. I did and you may discover the creative person you are and were meant to be. Nothing is the same, for me I have broken chains that bound me to labor. I have re constructed who I am. Please get these 2 items and join me in a life worth living that can never be stolen or lost again.

Some people may not like this workbook because it's lined pages with quotes. That's it. But, for me, it's very helpful as a way to get me to actually do it. This is an amazing book and a wonderful way to do recovery in all forms. I have bought it twice and gave one to a friend. I also bought the starter kit that includes the journal which I highly recommend to buy it that way because she weaves a lot of her insight through out the journal and at the beginning of each week she puts a review of each chapter for the 12 week challenge!! I have done this twice and I get more and more from doing the work. Absolutely life changing if you commit to doing the work as she suggest in her writings. I'm doing things I thought I would never do and it's so wonderful!!!!!

I am not good at sticking to programs like this, so I really appreciate this workbook. I had been reading through the "regular" AW book without paying attention to the assignments, but this workbook takes care of that, and I like the feeling of seeing my words on the page. It encourages me to keep going. Also- there are some assignments that are not in the text. I can't say how many, but there are some.

You don't need this. I thought this was to supplement the book but everything is in the book and this just repeats the end of each chapter. Very sorry I ordered it. Love the book but not the workbook.

The workbook is a fantastic companion to The Artist Way book. I had a goal to read the book and complete the workbook in 2016. The workbook gives you a nice spot to do the assignments from the end of each chapter in the book, also by Julia Cameron. You will have plenty of room to write, color and draw.

This the fourth book in Candace’s series Dragons of the Bayou. I love Candace’s writing. Her development of the world building and characters for this series makes the book both easy to read and attention grabbing. Remy, Blaise’s twin, wants a mate. He definitely doesn’t want to go crazy at the eclipse. Remy, after a night of hanging out with the mated pairs and drinking way too much of Armand’s brew, crash lands in dragon form in the garden of a very posh hotel in New Orleans. Suddenly he gets a whiff of the most delicious scent. The scent of his mate! Lennox, is in the garden, stealing some time away from her disastrous rehearsal dinner and getting cozy with her beignets and cheesecake when suddenly something falls from the sky right in front of her. Remy, takes matters into his own hands, literally picks Lennox up and flies away with her. There are some intense scenes between these two as they learn to mated and mates. These two are sweet and romantic with each other once they get the hang of being in a relationship. Of course there are some sexy scenes between these two! Loved this book! Can’t wait for Ovide and Armand to get their mates!

Love dragons and especially these dragons from another world. Very hot, alpha, exciting, dominating and so much more. Putting them in Louisiana was awesome. It makes the story so exciting to have it in another place then the usual. They know what they want in a mate and when they meet them go after them. Very, very enjoyable read. Highly recommended.

A lonely dragon finds his mate in a strange and awkward way, crash landing near her. It is love at first sight. Unfortunately she is supposed to marry someone else the next day. With much excitement and angst all is well.

Remy is drunk when he meets Lennox. Remy interrupt Lennox wedding because he believes they are mates. Lennox can't seem to tell anyone no, she is a people pleaser. This cause all kinds of problems for the couple.

A great addition to the series. I really enjoyed this story, Remy's love and devotion was so sweet. Loved how Lennox was able to grow into the woman she deserves to be. Highly recommend 👍👍

What a bunch of great characters that keep you charmed, laughing, and heated up ! Half of them are Dragons after all !!!

She teached high school but she is a people pleaser who can't seem to tell anyone no even to the point she is about to marry the wrong guy, he is a dragon shifter who one night drinks too much because of his want of a mate, read to find out all there is.

Remy was a cool dragon! This was a fun story, quick and enjoyable.
