I have attended 2 retreats Sandra has put together and let me tell you, it changed my life. I am doing things I had been planning to do or thinking of doing but never took the step until I attended one of her retreats. She is God sent!!! This book is going to inspire you , empower you and provide you with the skills you need to put together a life changing retreat! I say that because that's exactly how I felt immediately I began reading this book. If this is how I feel just from reading the beginning then I can be certain that I will have a retreat details and possibly a location by time I am through.As with everything, she poured her heart into this piece. Thank you, Sandra for always sharing and lifting the next woman up!
This mini book is extremely basic. It really doesn't tell much at all about how to create wow retreats. It could have been written by someone who had never done one. It has no real insider information, no details. It doesn't have BAD information. It just a lot of common sense. It's really an article that is only worth $1.
Great overview on the basics of things you should consider when thinking of planning a retreat. I thought there would be details about actual exercises and activities, but that's not what this book is for.Loved the author's passion for doing transformational work and for encouraging the reader to truly understand the significance of what it means to hold space for others to find their way, as one does as a retreat facilitator. Good stuff.
This book came into my life at the right time. I had been talking about doing a retreat, but not sure if I should. This book is a wonderful guide if you need some great ideas on how to begin the journey in changing lives!

Every retreat planning committee needs to read this well thought out guide before taking a forward step with the process. Retreats are serious business and should be taken as such. I've been involved with several retreats that were spiritual, business and fun times related, but we were never privy to a guide that so succinctly outlines for us the before, during, and after the fact work that is involved in constructing and implementing life changing experiences for the participants. Indeed, this is an on time WOW book with detailed strategies that stretches our imagination, heightens our vision, and challenges us to think outside of the retreat planning box! Retreats will never be the same. Thank you Sandra!!
